01 · The needs

Why switch hosts?

A slow site makes visitors leave before they read your offer. A poorly protected site, or one that is never backed up, can vanish overnight. And when something breaks, you need someone who answers.

If your current host leaves you alone with these questions, Serafex hosting takes care of them: speed, security and backups, for each site. It adds to the base plan or to a website project, and the offers and plans present the rest.

02 · The scope

What Serafex hosting includes

  1. A fast site. Your site is served from Serafex’s servers, set up to display your pages quickly. A site that loads fast keeps its visitors, and Google takes the experience your pages offer, including their speed, into account.

  2. A protected site. HTTPS is included: your site loads at a secure address, without the browser’s “Not secure” warning. Our servers are protected and kept up to date by our team.

  3. Backups of your site. Your site is backed up. If an update goes wrong or a file is deleted, it can be put back the way it was.

  4. Transfer included. We move your site from your current host, turn on HTTPS and check your pages and forms after the transfer.

  5. A person to talk to. A question about your site? You talk to a Serafex advisor, not a support bot.

03 · Preparation

We take care of moving your site

You don’t have to redo everything: the transfer is included, and we do it with you, step by step.

To prepare the move, gather your site’s address, the name of your current host and the access your business holds. The domain name should be in your business’s name, with access to its registrar and its DNS zone. Also list the email inboxes and forms tied to the site.   2. Confirm with an advisor what is included for your site.

  3. Transfer the site to our servers and turn on HTTPS.

  4. Check the pages and forms after the transfer.

04 · Backups

Your backups, your safety net

A wrong click, a plugin that breaks everything, a deleted file: without a backup, you sometimes have to rebuild the whole site. With Serafex hosting, your site is backed up and can be restored to an earlier state.

Will my site be faster with Serafex?

Our servers give your site a fast foundation. Speed also depends on the site itself: very heavy images or too many plugins slow a site down anywhere. Your advisor can tell you what slows yours down, and the website project can fix it.

How is my site protected?

HTTPS is included, and your site is hosted on servers protected and kept up to date by the Serafex team. Backups complete that protection: if a problem comes up, the site can be restored.

Does my email move with my site?

No. Email is not included in hosting. If your inboxes are with your current host, decide what happens to them before the transfer; your advisor helps you take stock.

My site is on Wix, Squarespace or a similar platform: can it be transferred?

Not as is. Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Shopify and other closed platforms don’t let a site leave: it has to be rebuilt with a website project, then hosted with us.

How does my site’s transfer work?

In four steps: we check that your current site can be transferred, you give us access and accept the transfer terms, we move the site and point your domain to our servers, then we turn on HTTPS and check that it’s live.

How is hosting billed?

Monthly, per site, plus taxes. It’s added to your Serafex invoice after launch and keeps its own contract: stopping another plan doesn’t stop it.

Does hosting include the domain name?

No. You keep your domain name where it’s registered: during the transfer, we point it to our servers.

  • A guaranteed uptime percentage. No uptime percentage is guaranteed on this page. How often backups run and what work is included are confirmed with your advisor.

  • The domain name. It isn’t sold with hosting: it stays in your business’s name, with your registrar. During the transfer, we point it to our servers, and you keep control of it.

  • Your email. Email isn’t hosted with the site: your inboxes stay with your provider, such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, two suites the Executive plan links to. If they’re with your current host, we look with you at where to move them before the transfer.

  • Building or redesigning the site. Hosting keeps the site you already have online. Building or redoing it is a website project, quoted separately.

  • Ongoing content changes. Changing your text, images or pages week after week isn’t included automatically. Keeping your site up to date month after month comes with the Executive plan or the SEO plan.

  • Search visibility. A fast site helps, but the work on your pages, keywords and links comes with the SEO plan.

  • Your social media. Your posts and social accounts come with the SMO plan.

  • Several sites in one plan. Hosting is counted per site: each hosted site is a separate service.

  • An online purchase. No subscription or payment happens online: the form sends your request to an advisor, and sending it creates no subscription and no billing.
