SEO plan: search visibility you can verify, week after week
Scope set with an advisor
The SEO plan is our most requested plan, and it is real groundwork: keywords chosen around your services and your region, pages that are optimized and properly indexed in Google and in Bing, GEO so AI tools like ChatGPT and Copilot can cite you, quality backlinks built in three tiers, then proof of every link, every week. Your results come straight from Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4, in your account: nothing is retyped, rounded or dressed up.
- Google, Bing and AI
- Backlinks in three tiers
- A report every week
- Your real Google data
01 · The needs
SEO means being found by the right clients, at the right time
When someone looks for what you offer, they type a few words into Google and pick from the first results. Organic search, or SEO, is all the work that puts your site in front of that person, without paying for every click the way ads do.
Google looks at three things: does your page really answer the search, can it read and index the page without obstacles, and do other serious sites recommend you with links? The SEO plan works on all three at once, because one alone is not enough.
And your clients no longer search only in Google: they also ask ChatGPT, Copilot or Google’s AI Overviews, which answer by citing a few sources. The plan also prepares your business for those answers: that is GEO.
Many agencies send reports full of flattering numbers that nobody can check. At Serafex, you see the work done and your real results, right in your account, including when a link disappears.
The SEO plan is chosen alongside the Executive plan. The Serafex plans page sets out each offer and what it includes.
What this plan covers
Scope set with an advisor
- Keyword research around your services, regions and competitors.
- On-page SEO and technical fixes applied to your site.
- Indexing tracked in Google and Bing: robots.txt, XML sitemap, Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and IndexNow.
- GEO: your pages and business information ready for AI answers, and a check of the answers observed.
- Quality backlinks in three tiers, verified one by one.
- A report every week: links built, verified and lost.
- Your Search Console and GA4 data live in the app.
02 · The scope
Our method: from keywords to properly indexed pages
Everything starts from the services you really offer. We don’t chase keywords with impressive volumes; we go after the ones your future clients type when they are ready to call.
Keywords. We look at what your clients search for, with what intent, and what your competitors already rank for. Each important page gets its main keyword and its variants, and two of your pages never compete for the same keyword.
On-page SEO. Title, meta description, heading structure, content that truly answers the question, internal links, lighter images with their alt text, and structured data: every targeted page is optimized, then checked.
Indexing. A page that is online is not necessarily in Google. We check that robots.txt lets through what should be found and blocks the rest, that the XML sitemap is current and submitted in Google Search Console and in Bing Webmaster Tools, that canonical tags are right and that no important page is excluded by mistake. New or updated pages are also sent to Bing through IndexNow, so it visits them sooner.
Technical work and content. Speed, mobile display, HTTPS, 404 errors and redirects are fixed on the site you give us access to. When a page lacks depth, our writers produce the articles and guides that support it.
03 · GEO
GEO: getting cited in AI answers
More and more clients ask ChatGPT, Copilot, Perplexity or Google’s AI Overviews instead of going through ten links. GEO prepares your business for those answers: so AI tools understand who you are, what you do and where, and have good reasons to cite your pages.

An AI answer
Several Laval contractors specialize in kitchens. Atelier Boréal designs custom kitchens and shows its projects with indicative prices1. A regional publication also lists it among the well-rated businesses in the area2.

Bing, the way into Copilot. Bing is not only for Bing: it powers Microsoft Copilot and the AI summaries in its results. We register your site in Bing Webmaster Tools, submit your sitemap there and send your new pages through IndexNow.
Every AI crawler in its place. Your robots.txt tells apart the crawlers that search in order to answer, like ChatGPT’s OAI-SearchBot, from those that collect data to train a model, like GPTBot. You decide for each one: nothing is opened or closed all at once.
Pages that answer. Direct answers to your clients’ real questions, clear facts about your business, structured data that says the same thing as the page, and text that crawlers can read without JavaScript. No magic file for AI: Google itself says none is needed.
The same facts everywhere. We check that your name, address, services and hours say the same thing on your site, your Google profile, Bing Places, Apple Maps and serious directories. Every gap we find is reported to you with its fix, and the mentions earned by our backlinks reinforce the right version.
The GEO check. We choose real client questions with you, with and without your business name, and ask them to the agreed answer engines. Each answer is recorded as it is: the exact question, the date, the tool, whether you are named, whether your page is cited with a link, and which competitors are. At the next check, the same questions come back, so like is compared with like.
Google’s and Bing’s AI numbers. Search Console now measures your appearances in Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode, and Bing Webmaster Tools counts your pages’ citations in Copilot. We show you those reports as they are. No citation is guaranteed: you see what we observe, not a promise.

04 · The three tiers
Quality backlinks, built in three tiers
A backlink is a link from another site to yours. To Google, it is a recommendation: the more it comes from a serious site close to your field, the more it counts. We build these recommendations in three tiers, each with its own role.
Tier 1: links to your site. Articles, resource pages and listings on real sites, relevant to your services, pointing straight to your pages. This is the tier that matters most: every link in it is chosen, written and verified one by one.
Tier 2: strengthening the pages that mention you. A page that recommends you passes on more strength when it is recognized itself. Tier 2 brings quality links to your tier 1 placements, so they are discovered, indexed and taken seriously by Google.
Tier 3: widening the signals around them. Mentions, profiles and shares that reinforce tier 2 and make your presence look natural. Even here, there are no networks of fake sites and no automated links: a wider tier does not mean a dirtier one.
All three tiers follow the same rule: a real site, real content, and a link verified on the public page.
05 · Link types
The backlinks we build, and the ones we refuse
Every site is inspected before it is kept: a real audience, recent content, a connection to your services and a context where the link belongs. A domain score alone never qualifies a site. We search worldwide, with a preference for Canada when quality is equal.
Guest articles. A useful article, written for a site in your field, that cites your page where it helps the reader.
Resource pages. Your guide or tool added to a list of resources a site keeps up to date for its audience.
Resource guides. A complete guide published on your site, designed so other sites want to cite it.
Business listings. Serious directories and profiles, in your industry or your region, with accurate information.
Case studies. A real project told with its facts, on a partner’s site or an industry publication.
Real partnerships. Suppliers, associations and collaborators you actually work with, never an invented relationship.
Every piece is written for its site, in its language and following its rules, then reviewed by a second check before it is submitted.
What we refuse, for every client: bought links, sites that ask for payment to publish, private blog networks, link farms, and comments or profiles created in bulk. Google treats these shortcuts as link spam: it can ignore them, or penalize the site that benefits from them.
06 · Local
Local first, and referring domains that count
For a local business, the best clients are often a few kilometres away. We work your keywords with your cities and regions, clear pages for each area you serve, and the same name, address and phone number everywhere your business appears.
Local links carry a lot of weight: a regional publication, an association in your industry, a serious Quebec directory or a partner in your city tell Google where you really work.
Referring domains, not just links. Ten links from the same site are worth less than ten different sites that mention you. We track your referring domains, each counted once, and we aim to add new ones rather than stack links on the same sites.
07 · Every week
Every week, your verified backlinks, and the ones that disappear
A promised link is not a published link. Every backlink built during the week is verified the following week on the public page: is the link there, does it lead to the right page, in the right context? Only a verified link is counted.
Your weekly report shows each link with its public address and its type: guest article, resource page, business listing. You can open the page and see it for yourself.

Removed links too. A site rebuilds its pages, a publisher takes down an old article: it happens to everyone. The app’s Backlinks space shows the new and lost links of each period, with their first-seen and last-confirmed dates. A lost link is never hidden: you see it just as we do. And a lost link stays lost: we don’t replace it. The plan expects from the start that some links will disappear, so we build more than the volume in your plan.

08 · Your real data
Your real Google data, right in your account
With your access, we connect Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 to your account, in Settings › Connections. The SEO space then reads your data through Google’s APIs: the numbers you see are Google’s, not an edited screenshot or a table retyped by hand.
Search Console shows how Google sees your site: clicks, impressions, average position and queries. Google Analytics 4 shows what your visitors do after the click: visits, page views and goals reached. The SEO space puts them side by side, over the period you choose, with site health, your keywords and your backlinks, link by link. Its audit gathers the checks shared by Google and AI engines on a single card, and Bing Webmaster Tools joins them to follow Bing too, the way into Copilot.
Without those connections, the app tells you so instead of inventing a number: an estimate never replaces your data. The app’s SEO space shows each view in detail.
09 · Preparation
How we get started together
An advisor starts from your site, your services and your regions, then sets with you the targeted pages, the backlink volume and how often reports come. The guide to preparing an SEO audit helps you gather the essentials before you begin.

10 · Common questions
Your questions about the SEO plan
How long before I see results?
SEO is groundwork. On relevant keywords, the first effects usually show within 3 to 6 months, depending on your site, your market and the competition. You follow the progress every week in your account, but no ranking is guaranteed.
Do you buy backlinks?
No. A site that asks for payment to publish a link is refused, for every client. Our backlinks come from useful content placed on real sites, and each one is verified on the public page.
Do you also do GEO, for AI answers?
Yes. The plan prepares your pages and your business information for answer engines like ChatGPT, Copilot, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews, and a check records the answers actually observed. No citation is guaranteed.
Why Bing, if my clients use Google?
Because Bing also powers Microsoft Copilot and the AI summaries in its results. Registering your site in Bing Webmaster Tools and sending it your new pages through IndexNow opens one more way into AI answers.
What are tiers 1, 2 and 3?
Tier 1 groups the links that point straight to your site. Tier 2 strengthens the pages that recommend you, and tier 3 widens the signals around them. Tier 1 remains the heart of the work.
What happens if a backlink is removed?
You see it among the lost links of the period, with its last-confirmed date. A lost link is never hidden or counted as active, and it is not replaced. The plan accounts for these losses from the start: we build more links than the planned volume.
Are the numbers I see really Google’s?
Yes. The SEO space reads Search Console and Google Analytics 4 through their APIs, with the access you give. You can compare with your own Google accounts at any time: it is the same data.
Why count referring domains rather than links?
Because Google takes into account the variety of sites that recommend you. Ten different sites are worth more than ten links from a single site: that is why each referring domain is counted once.
How many backlinks per week?
The volume is set with your advisor, according to the plan you choose, and we build a little more, because some links will eventually disappear. We prefer fewer links, but real ones, over a big number that does not hold.
